Preconfigured Plugins and Features

Jared Lutz December 17, 2020

Special note & consideration regarding our included add-ons

WordPress websites are built on top of an infrastructure of plugins. For simplicity sake, imagine these plugins are Legos; building your website is like building a very cool interface with Legos.

Each plugin (lego) is built by a separate developer. This is what makes WordPress INCREDIBLY powerful and INCREDIBLY dangerous. If plugins conflict, it can break your entire site. For this purpose, we have disabled your ability to add plugins. This is for your security. If you would like to control your own plugins, please upgrade to your own hosting environment here. If you need a plugin added, please reach out to our support team and let them know which plugin you would like added. They will vet the plugin and if it is well documents and not known to have any existing conflicts, our team will add the plugin for you.

Premium or “Pro” plugins often cost money and this can be an expensive endeavor. No worries, our nonprofit purchases a lot of these pro plugins for you. However, each plugin purchase is unique, and depending on our relationship with them, we may not be able to purchase the plugin for you. Nevertheless, reach out to us and see if this is an expense the charity can cover for you.
